As a piano teacher who has had a wide range of students from ages 6 all the way through retired adults, the Piano Adventures series is my go-to source for core piano curriculum. The Fabers did an excellent job organizing skills into a logical progression and included a variety of music. There’s something for everyone to love: Classical, Jazz, Pop, Spiritual, Rock, and much more.
Book 2 of the Adult Piano Adventures series prepares you to strike out on your own. It teaches you how to approach any piece of music as well as how to play from just chord sheets, something most of my students wanted to be able to do.
